The Conejo Valley air calendar

Call and tell us what the building is doing. We will say what we would measure, what it is likely to be, and when we could come out. Thousand Oaks and the area around it.

The four seasons of the air

  • Late winter and spring · oak pollen

Oaks shed pollen in late winter and spring. Fresh filters, a sealed return and closed windows on high-pollen days help most.

  • Summer · inland heat

The valley gets much hotter than the coast. Clean outdoor coils and good airflow keep cooling capacity up.

  • Autumn · Santa Ana winds

Dry offshore winds bring heat, dust and sometimes wildfire smoke. Keep spare filters and know how to recirculate.

  • Winter · cool nights

Frosty mornings in the valley. A heating check before the first cold week.

Seasonal visits

Two visits a year cover most of it

Spring before the heat, autumn before the cold and the winds. Filters, coils, drains, safety checks — and a note of anything to watch.
